TDS provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control construction, testing, and start-up and commissioning services to the Power Generation, Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical, Heavy Process, and other Industrial end markets.\nWe are a dynamic and rapidly growing company in search of highly skilled Field Service Technicians to join our team to support a large Data Center project in the greater Columbus, Ohio area.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerforming the necessary Acceptance Testing for electrical equipment within Data Center Facilities. \nSafely use hand and power tools, metering & testing equipment, and precision instruments.\nCollaborate with internal team members & customers/ end-users to complete projects within defined timelines.\nFollow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.\nQualifications:\nExpertise in switchgear maintenance, troubleshooting, and breaker installation.\nStrong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills.\nThorough understanding of LDL, L2, L3 inspections and testing procedures.\nProficiency in secondary injection testing of breakers and PT/CT wiring installations.\nFamiliarity with bus installations, meter configurations, and control wiring.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.\nHands-on experience with testing and maintenance tools (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc).\nStrong communication skills for interacting with customers and providing technical support.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide timely resolutions.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExperience with daily reporting and documentation of work performed.\nWillingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S.\nCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 3-5+ years of experience in switchgear installation, testing, and maintenance, preferably in industrial, utility, and/ or data center environments.\nKnowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and related safety standards/ protocols (OSHA, NFPA 70E).\nProject Details:\nProject(s): Data Center Site\nLocation(s): Columbus, OH area\nPer Diem: Yes, Provided ($150/day x 7 days per week)\nMob/ Demob: Yes, $1000/each way\nSchedule: Full-time Monday - Friday\nPay-rate: Based Upon level of Expertise.\nOvertime: Yes, potential for overtime varies\nStart Date: Immediately (Mid October 2025)\nBenefits:\nPTO + Paid Holidays\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nVision insurance \nRequirements\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis job involves both indoor and outdoor work.
