TDS provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control construction, testing, and start-up and commissioning services to the Power Generation, Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical, Heavy Process, and other Industrial end markets.\nWe are a dynamic and rapidly growing company in search of a skilled Industrial I&C Technician to join our team to support a large industrial construction project in Southeast Texas.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssemble, construct, install, and maintain industrial instrumentation and digital control systems & related infrastructure according to specifications.\nSafely use hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments.\nCollaborate with team members to complete projects within defined timelines.\nFollow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.\nQualifications:\nProven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly, construction, installation, and maintenance/ troubleshooting of heavy industrial instrumentation and controls equipment.\nStrong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in using hand and power tools.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nWillingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S.\nCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum of 5+ years’ Experience in Industrial Instrumentation and Controls construction and/ or maintenance within a Heavy Process Industrial/ O&G/ Petrochemical environment.\nKnowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and/ or standards.\n Project Details:\nProject: Large LNG Processing & Terminal Facility- New Construction\nLocation: Port Arthur, TX\nDuration: 12+ months (could extend)\nSchedule: 4-10’s (Mon-Thurs) + 8hr (Fri)- May increase up to 6-10’s\nPay-rate: Based Upon Experience & Certification/ License Level\nOvertime: Yes, 1.5 on all O/T hours\nPer Diem: Yes, $140/day x 7 days per week\nBenefits:\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nVision insurance\nRequirements\n Physical Requirements:\nThis job involves both indoor and outdoor work.
