The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams and active supervision of shop floor personnel.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in planning and execution of fabrication shop activities to meet project timelines.\nSupervise welders, fitters, and fabrication technicians to ensure productivity and schedule adherence.\nInterpret fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and welding procedures (WPS, PQR, etc.).\nCoordinate with Design, Quality, Procurement, and Project teams for smooth workflow.\nEnsure compliance with quality standards, safety guidelines, and company procedures.\nMonitor material utilization and welding consumables to minimize waste and control costs.\nSupport implementation of lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.\nTrack daily production progress and report updates to Management\nVerify materials as per Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure availability of tools, jigs, and fixtures.\nAssist in internal quality checks, third-party inspections, and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).\nProvide training and technical guidance to shop floor personnel on fabrication techniques and safety practices.\nKey Skills & Technical Requirements\nDiploma / B.E. / BTech in Mech/ Elec Engineering or related discipline.\n3-6 years of relevant experience in fabrication (industrial/structural/mechanical sectors preferred).\nGood knowledge of fabrication processes and welding methods (SMAW, TIG, MIG).\nUnderstanding of relevant standards such as ASME, AWS, and IS.\nAbility to read and interpret fabrication/shop drawings, P&ID and blueprints.\nExperience in shop floor coordination, manpower supervision, and material handling.\nStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of safety practices and risk assessment in fabrication environments.\nMinimum Expectations\nProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, basic reporting).\nGood communication skills.\nStrong basic engineering fundamentals.\nLanguage proficiency: Kannada, Hindi, and English.\nExposure to reading and understanding P&ID
