The ideal candidate should have expertise in project planning, client coordination, installation, commissioning, documentation, and successful execution of projects involving valves, tubes, fittings, and associated mechanical systems.\nThe candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Execution\nExecute projects as per customer specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.\nStudy customer requirements, technical specifications, and contractual documents before project execution.\nPrepare execution plans and coordinate with internal departments for smooth project implementation.\nEnsure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule.\nMonitor project progress and take corrective actions whenever required.\n\nEngineering & Documentation\nPrepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ).\nPrepare and interpret P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).\nUnderstand process piping layouts, mechanical drawings, GA drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.\nPrepare material requirement lists and coordinate procurement.\nReview vendor documents and technical submittals.\nMaintain project documentation throughout the execution cycle.\n\nInstallation & Commissioning\nSupervise installation of:\nProcess piping\nValves\nTubes\nInstrument fittings\nMechanical equipment\nUtility piping systems\nCoordinate site activities with contractors and subcontractors.\nConduct installation inspections and quality checks.\nLead commissioning activities.\nPerform testing and troubleshooting during commissioning.\nEnsure successful project handover to customers.\n\nQuality & Safety\nEnsure adherence to company Quality Management System.\nFollow site safety regulations and customer EHS requirements.\nConduct risk assessments before execution.\nMaintain quality records and inspection reports.\nEnsure compliance with applicable engineering standards and codes.\n\nProject Planning & Monitoring\nPrepare detailed project schedules.\nTrack milestones and deliverables.\nMonitor project costs and resource utilization.\nCoordinate manpower deployment.\nIdentify project risks and prepare mitigation plans.\nEscalate project concerns to management proactively.\n\nClient Coordination\nAct as the primary technical point of contact for customers during project execution.\nAttend customer meetings and project review meetings.\nCoordinate approvals and technical clarifications.\nMaintain excellent customer relationships.\nResolve site-related issues professionally.\n\nReporting\nSubmit Daily Progress Reports (DPR).\nPrepare Weekly Progress Reports.\nPrepare Monthly Project Status Reports.\nMaintain commissioning records.\nPrepare installation reports.\nSubmit test reports and punch point closure reports.\nSupport final project documentation and handover.\n\nCross Functional Coordination\nWork closely with:\nSales Team\nDesign Team\nProcurement Team\nStores\nProduction\nLogistics\nQuality Team\nCustomers\nEnsure smooth coordination between all stakeholders.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve execution processes.\nRecommend cost-saving initiatives.\nImprove productivity and project efficiency.\nSupport standardization of documentation and execution practices.\nMentor junior engineers whenever required.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\nStrong knowledge of industrial project execution.\nExperience in preparing BOQ and P&ID.\nGood understanding of valves, tubing, fittings, and piping systems.\nExperience in MEP installation and commissioning.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings.\nKnowledge of mechanical and process engineering fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with project scheduling and tracking.\nStrong documentation skills.\nKnowledge of QA/QC procedures.\nWorking knowledge of safety standards and industrial EHS practices.\nExperience in customer-facing project execution.\n\nSoftware Skills\nAutoCAD\nMicrosoft Excel\nMicrosoft
