Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala and Functional Programming principles.\n\n- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using the Play Framework.\n\n- Develop indexing, and data retrieval requirements.\n\n- Develop efficient queries and data models using SQL and NoSQL databases.\n\n- Work with Cassandra and other distributed databases where required.\n\n- Analyze technical requirements, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to system design decisions.\n\n- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code following software engineering best practices.\n\n- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues and implement effective solutions.\n\n- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality product features.\n\n- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nTech Stack & Requirements :\n\n- 4+ years of experience in software product development.\n\n- Strong hands-on expertise in Scala and Functional Programming.\n\n- Experience developing applications using Play Framework and REST-based microservices.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch.\n\n- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.\n\n- Familiarity with Cassandra and distributed data stores.\n\n- Experience building low-latency, high-throughput/high-transactional services.\n\n- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, API design, and scalable backend architecture.\n\n- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.\n\n- Ability to work effectively in an agile and collaborative development environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications :\n\n- Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments such as Docker/Kubernetes.\n\n- Understanding of CI/CD practices and automated testing.\n\n- Experience with performance
