You will join a small, experienced team at an important point in the product journey, helping bring Seamless Charging into customer use and continuing to develop it from there. You will contribute directly to the service and its integrations, work closely with customer and partner teams, and help shape what comes next.\nWhat you will do\nBuild and evolve backend services in Python on AWS, with an emphasis on clear, maintainable software.\n\nDevelop integrations that bring together vehicle data, charging networks, service providers and customer systems.\n\nWork with the team to translate product needs and partner use cases into practical technical solutions.\n\nHelp shape the architecture, APIs, data flows and security approach as the product develops.\n\nWrite tests and improve the development workflow so the team can deliver changes with confidence.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, architects, product stakeholders and external partners in an international setting.\n\nContribute to preparing the service for broader use, including reliability and operational readiness as it approaches production.\n\nWhat we are looking for\nYou are a senior software engineer who enjoys turning an evolving product idea into working software.\n\nYou are comfortable taking initiative, discussing trade-offs and working across the codebase in a small team.\n\nYou communicate clearly, collaborate well with partners and colleagues, and care about building a service that is useful, secure and dependable.\n\nStrong professional experience developing backend software, Python is a must, Java is good.\n\nStrong experience with AWS specifically and cloud-based services in general.\n\nSound software engineering practices, including testing, code review and designing maintainable systems.\n\nGood communication skills and confidence working with external partners.\n\nInterest in connected vehicles and the systems that link vehicles with digital services.\n\nIt is a bonus if you have\nEV charging or roaming standards such as OCPI, charging infrastructure, telematics, or integrations across multiple organizations.\nAbout the assignment\nThis is a consultant assignment with WirelessCar in Sweden. The role is based in Gothenburg, with a hybrid way of working and at least two days per week in the office.
