We are committed to building a collaborative, high-performing workplace where employees feel supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed.\n Position Summary\nTechSur Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Lead to manage day-to-day HR operations, ensure employment compliance, and lead employee engagement initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate is a self-sufficient HR professional who can independently manage the full employee lifecycle, provide guidance to managers and employees, and improve HR processes as the company grows.\nThis role offers an opportunity to take ownership of core HR functions while helping shape TechSur's employee experience and workplace culture.\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Operations\nManage employee onboarding, offboarding, personnel changes, and HR records.\nAdminister employee benefits, leave requests, and HR policies.\nMaintain employee information and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.\nCoordinate with Payroll, Finance, and Recruiting on employee-related activities.\nSupport employee transitions associated with government contract awards and changes.\nDevelop and improve HR processes, procedures, and documentation.\nHR Compliance\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.\nOversee Form I-9 compliance, employment verification, and personnel recordkeeping.\nCoordinate required HR reporting, compliance training, and policy updates.\nSupport applicable federal contractor employment requirements and audit readiness.\nIdentify HR compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.\nEmployee Engagement and Relations\nServe as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies and workplace matters.\nDevelop and coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.\nConduct employee surveys, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.\nSupport employee communications, company events, and activities that strengthen workplace culture.\nAssist managers with employee relations, performance concerns, and conflict resolution.\nPromote a positive and consistent employee experience across office, hybrid, remote, and customer-site employees.\nPerformance Management and HR Improvement\nCoordinate the annual performance review process, including manager communications, tracking, and reporting.\nSupport employee development, training, and career growth initiatives.\nMaintain HR metrics and reporting, including headcount, turnover, and employee engagement.\nRecommend improvements to HR systems and processes that support organizational growth.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong hands-on HR generalist responsibilities.\nExperience independently managing multiple HR functions, preferably as a primary HR resource in an organization of approximately 100-300 employees.\nStrong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.\nExperience developing or supporting employee engagement initiatives.\nProficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHR experience in a federal government contracting or IT professional services environment.\nFamiliarity with federal contractor employment requirements, including SCA and applicable EEO/OFCCP obligations.\nSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.\nExperience supporting employees across multiple locations or customer sites.\nExperience improving HR processes, performance management programs, and employee engagement activities.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for someone who:\nTakes ownership: Can independently manage HR responsibilities and follow through without extensive oversight.\nIs approachable: Builds trust with employees and managers while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.\nIs compliance-minded: Understands employment requirements and maintains accurate, consistent HR practices.\nIs people-focused: Brings practical ideas for employee engagement, recognition, and retention.\nIs hands-on: Is comfortable handling routine HR administration while also leading improvements.\nThrives in a growing company: Adapts to changing priorities and helps build scalable processes.\nWhy Join TechSur?\nAt TechSur, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our employees and the company's growth.
