Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.\n The Junior Web Software Developer will support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and deployment of enterprise web applications in a Microsoft Azure environment. Working under the guidance of senior developers and technical leads, the individual will contribute to application development, troubleshooting, testing, and modernization efforts within an Agile and DevSecOps environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate and REST APIs.\nSupport the migration and modernization of existing web applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.\nSupport website design and development activities, including site concepts, user interfaces, navigation, and application functionality.\nDevelop and maintain application components using Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nAssist with implementing interfaces and integrations between web applications, databases, and enterprise systems.\nSupport database development and maintenance activities, including SQL queries, data retrieval, and troubleshooting using relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.\nAssist with migrating and modernizing existing web applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.\nAssist with implementing and maintaining cloud-based applications using Azure services, including Azure App Service and Azure Database for PostgreSQL.\nDevelop, test, debug, and document application features, enhancements, and defect fixes under the guidance of senior developers.\nSupport application deployments and CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS/OpenShift), as applicable.\nAssist with application troubleshooting, performance monitoring, security vulnerability remediation, routine maintenance, and production support.\nParticipate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to established coding standards and secure software development practices.\nCollaborate with developers, testers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to support application integrations and resolve technical issues.\nSupport Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and progress reporting.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including application changes, deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system support materials.\n Required Qualifications\n Experience: 2+ years of experience in web application development, software engineering, or related technical work.\nFoundational programming knowledge and experience coding in Java through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.\nBasic understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nFamiliarity with relational databases, SQL, and basic database concepts.\nUnderstanding of application development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting fundamentals.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nAbility to learn new technologies and work collaboratively under the guidance of senior developers.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to
