Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.\n Position Summary: TechSur is seeking a Solution Architect to design the target architecture for EXIM Online modernization, transforming a legacy Java/J2EE monolith into a secure, scalable, AWS-based microservices platform. This role will lead architecture decisions across domain decomposition, APIs, integrations, security, data ownership, observability, resiliency, and legacy coexistence.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine the target microservices architecture for EOL, including domain-aligned services, APIs, synchronous and asynchronous communication, security boundaries, data ownership, and integration patterns.\nLead service decomposition planning for legacy Java/J2EE workflows, database objects, stored procedures, integrations, batch jobs, and business rules.\nDesign AWS-based reference architectures supporting DEV, SQT, UAT, PROD, and COOP environments with account segmentation, VPC design, security guardrails, and high availability.\nCoordinate architecture approval with EXIM technical, business, cybersecurity, O&M, and downstream system stakeholders.\nDevelop architecture diagrams, integration diagrams, data flow diagrams, API standards, service design patterns, and modernization sequencing plans.\nEnsure architecture aligns with EO 14028, Zero Trust, NIST SSDF, cATO, DevSecOps, and federal cloud security expectations.\n Required Qualifications\n10+ years of enterprise solution architecture experience, including cloud-native application modernization.\nExport-Import Bank IT experience is REQUIRED.\nHands-on experience with AWS, microservices, containers, Kubernetes/EKS, APIs, event-driven architecture, observability, and secure integration patterns.\nExperience decomposing legacy Java/J2EE or WebSphere applications into domain-driven microservices.\nExperience with data migration, legacy coexistence, strangler pattern, feature toggles, controlled cutover, and rollback strategies.\nAbility to translate business workflows and mission requirements into scalable, secure, production-ready technical architectures.\nAWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification.\nExperience with federal ATO, cATO, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, or secure cloud
