Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.\n Position Summary\nCandidates must have prior experience supporting the Department of Commerce (DOC) or the specific agency this position supports. Candidates without relevant agency experience will not be considered for this position.\nServes as the senior technical authority for enterprise architecture, solution design, modernization strategy, cloud adoption, platform integration, data services, and emerging technology. Develops scalable, secure, supportable architectures across ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft, content management, data/analytics, cloud, and AI-enabled environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine current-state, transition-state, and target-state architectures aligned to mission, business, security, data, and operational needs.\nLead technical assessments for feasibility, total cost of ownership, return on investment, implementation impact, integration, scalability, and supportability\nDevelop modernization roadmaps, reference architectures, reusable design patterns, technical standards, and architecture decision records.\nArchitect integrations across ServiceNow, Salesforce, SharePoint, Drupal, Power Platform, Microsoft SQL, Analysis Services, Power BI, cloud services, and enterprise interfaces.\nGuide SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, cloud-native, API, identity, data, automation, and AI adoption decisions.\nEnsure technical solutions integrate DME and O&M considerations from design through deployment and sustained operations.\nLead design reviews, technical risk assessments, proofs of concept, product evaluations, and rollout planning.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, operations, data, product, and program leadership to ensure compliant and operable solutions.\nMinimum Education and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience supporting Department of Commerce OCIO enterprise architecture programs is REQUIRED.\nMinimum 12 years of enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems engineering, or complex application integration experience.\nMinimum 8 years supporting federal IT modernization or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.\nMinimum 5 years designing cloud-based SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions.\nDemonstrated experience integrating multiple enterprise platforms and assessing TCO, ROI, scalability, implementation impacts, and operational support requirements.\nRequired Certifications\nAt least one: Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or TOGAF Enterprise Architecture certification.\nPreferred Qualifications and Certifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\nMicrosoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Certified Cloud Security Professional, ServiceNow architecture certification, or Salesforce architecture certification.\nExperience integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise
