The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RHEL administration, automation using Ansible, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and application server management. This role involves close collaboration with clients, application teams, and cloud engineers to ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and support IT infrastructure including server hardware and Linux operating systems\nPerform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Linux OS (RHEL 7, 8, 9)\nInstall, configure, and manage middleware components such as Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere\nDevelop and maintain Ansible playbooks for OS upgrades (RHEL 7 to RHEL 8), OS hardening, and automation tasks\nExperience with Ansible Tower / AWX for configuration management and orchestration\nBuild and manage virtual machines in Azure Cloud, including mobility and services migration tool installation\nProvide guidance and implementation support for OpenShift and Azure cloud environments\nInteract with clients to resolve system, application, and infrastructure-related issues\nAnalyze application performance and ensure availability and performance objectives are met using monitoring and performance tools (AWS)\nManage DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, OpenShift, AWS CodeDeploy\nDevelop AWS CloudFormation templates to automate EC2 provisioning, software installation, and service startup\nDeploy and manage application updates across different versions on JBOSS and Tomcat environments\nEnsure system security, compliance, and best practices across on-prem and cloud platforms\n Required Skills & Qualifications\n8+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer / Administrator\nStrong expertise in RHEL (7, 8, 9) administration\nHands-on experience with Ansible automation and Ansible Tower\nExperience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms\nKnowledge of OpenShift container platform\nStrong understanding of application servers: Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere\nExperience with cloud migrations and application modernization\nFamiliarity with CI/CD and DevOps
