to be a part of it.\n\nJob Description\n\nJob Description – Smallworld GIS Engineer\n\nPosition: Junior Design Engineer, Design Engineer\n\nExperience: 1–4 Years\n\nLocation: Hyderabad & Khammam\n\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform electric utility GIS data maintenance activities, including design updates, as-built incorporation, asset validation, and QA.\nWork on GE Smallworld for maintaining and updating electric utility network data.\nInterpret as-built drawings, design documents, and engineering information and incorporate updates into GIS.\nMaintain accurate information related to electric distribution assets, network connectivity, topology, and GIS data.\nPerform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.\nIdentify and resolve connectivity, network, and data-related errors.\nEnsure GIS data is updated in accordance with defined workflows and client requirements.\nCollaborate with internal teams to address data discrepancies and complete assigned deliverables within timelines.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n1–4 years of experience in Electric Utility Data Maintenance.\nHands-on experience with GE Smallworld GIS.\nGood understanding of electric distribution assets and utility networks. \nExperience in GIS data maintenance, updates, and validation.\nKnowledge of network connectivity and topology.\nAbility to interpret as-built and design documents.\nGood understanding of GIS data modelling.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nGood analytical and problem-solving
