We believe in enabling clients to maximize the potential and achieve a greater market with a wide array of technology services, including, but not limited to, Enterprise Resource Planning, Application Development, Analytics, Digital, and the Internet of things (IoT).\n\nFounded in 2004, headquartered in Houston, TX, USA, Techwave leverages its expertise in Digital Transformation, Enterprise Applications, and Engineering Services to enable businesses accelerate their growth.\n\nPlus, we're a team of dreamers and doers who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible.\n\nAnd we want YOU to be a part of it.\n\nJob Description\n\nWe are looking for a skilled SAP Commerce Developer to implement, enhance, test, document, and support SAP Commerce solutions while working closely with Senior Developers, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver assigned support and build tasks within agreed scope, quality, and timelines.\n\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on development expertise, experience working in SAP Commerce projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, technical leads, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical\nDevelop, customize, and maintain SAP Commerce modules and extensions.\nClarify requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and assigned scope before starting build, and implement approved business requirements using SAP Commerce best practices.\nDevelop storefront, OCC APIs, and backend customizations.\nCreate reusable components and services to support application scalability.\nParticipate in sprint planning, estimation, development activities, and maintain timely updates on task status, blockers, and remaining effort.\nAnalyse and resolve application defects and incidents, escalating blockers or risks promptly when resolution depends on additional inputs or decisions.\nPerform root cause analysis for recurring issues.\nSupport production deployments and post-release validations.\nParticipate in on-call and support activities as required.\nMaintain technical documentation.\nParticipate in RCA creation.\nEnsure assigned tickets meet SLA expectations.\nFunctional\nOwn assigned business domains such as Product Catalog, Pricing, Content Management, Customer Management, Orders, Search, or Integrations, while staying within approved scope and raising gaps or ambiguities early.\nUnderstand end-to-end business processes, acceptance criteria, priorities, and expected outcomes associated with the assigned capability.\nParticipate in business impact analysis during incidents and releases.\nSupport continuous improvements that directly improve business operations.\nBuild and Support integrations with:\nSAP S/4HANA\nSAP ECC\nSAP CPI\nPayment gateways\nThird-party logistics providers\nCRM and marketing platforms\nQuality\nWrite unit tests and support integration testing and maintain unit test coverage >85%\nPerform code reviews where applicable, respond to review comments, and incorporate feedback thoroughly before closure.\nEnsure adherence to coding standards and development guidelines.\nSupport defect fixes during UAT and production rollout activities, with a focus on first-time-right resolution and avoiding repeat reopenings.\nFollow required change, testing, version-control, and deployment procedures for all assigned changes.\nCollaboration\nWork with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments and communicate status, blockers, and questions promptly.\nAssist in technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities.\nCollaborate with Senior Developers and Technical Leads to improve solution quality.\nParticipate in design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nComplete annual SAP Commerce learning objectives and regularly use approved delivery, collaboration, code-quality, and productivity tools.\nParticipate in knowledge sharing sessions.\nContribute to reusable assets, small automation ideas, and process improvements that improve personal and team effectiveness.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nSAP Commerce Expertise\n\n5 -
