The GRM team is a diverse group of multi-disciplinary Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that use the fundamental principles of geoscience to better understand Teck’s assets. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to assess geochemical data and apply accepted Quality Controls (QC), thus helping ensure that these foundational datasets are fit for use. These datasets are fundamental inputs to geoscience models and reserve and resource calculations that are used to quantify the value of orebodies and to develop mine plans.\nThis role provides an excellent opportunity to improve skills in data analysis and data compilation, while gaining valuable insights into industry best practices. The ideal candidate is keen to deepen their understanding of the application of geochemistry and quality control principles.
