By developing a strong understanding of business priorities and workforce needs, the Recruiter provides strategic recruitment support to leaders across the operation.\nTo be successful in this role, you are a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You can effectively manage competing priorities, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers. A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information is essential.\nKey Responsibilities\nBe a courageous safety leader and adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures\nOversee full-cycle recruitment for assigned union and non-union positions at Trail Operations, including trades, office staff, technical professionals, and management roles, ensuring all recruitment activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legislation.\nDevelop and post job advertisements.\nReview applications and screen candidates.\nPrepare hiring managers for interviews by providing guidance, coaching, and interview materials.\nFacilitate interviews and the candidate selection process.\nProvide recommendations and guidance on hiring decisions.\nCoordinate and complete pre-employment requirements.\nPrepare and extend employment offers, transfer agreements, and related onboarding documentation.\nMaintain recruitment records and hiring documentation, including HR systems, reporting trackers, interview notes, and compliance records.\nSupport sourcing and talent attraction initiatives through a variety of channels, including online platforms, social media, industry networking, and community outreach.\nCoordinate and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and other talent attraction activities as required.\nQualifications\nDegree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
