As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This role requires a good understanding of AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and proficient coding skills. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, deploy applications, and optimize performance. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of Cloud Infrastructure and Automation. You will actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing valuable insights to enhance our technology stack.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWork closely with Software Development and QA teams to facilitate the delivery of reliable and secure solutions. Foster collaboration by actively contributing ideas to improve our Architecture.\nContribute to a culture of knowledge sharing by supporting peers, sharing best practices, and proactively documenting solutions and learnings.\nAssist in developing services, controls, and patterns for cloud solutions to ensure security and privacy at scale. Implement and follow security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.\nTake ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring they meet standards through attention to detail and adherence to best practices.\nAssist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software delivery.\nWrite automation code utilizing languages like Python, Bash, Terraform and configuration management tools.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, performance and overall application lifecycle.\nParticipate in incident response and resolution efforts, and actively take part in the on-call shift rotation, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining system availability.The Ideal candidate will have: \nExperience working in regulated environments is considered an advantage.\nExperience contributing to platform or infrastructure initiatives in early-stage or scaling technology companies.\nStrong understanding of software reusability, maintainability, and infrastructure modularity (e.g., reusable IaC modules, standardized CI/CD templates).\nAppreciation for developer experience, with the ability to align infrastructure solutions to product and engineering needs.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining transparent about progress, risks, and challenges.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and accuracy.\nGrowth mindset with eagerness to continuously learn and improve systems, tooling, and processes.\nQualifications Required:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n3-5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.\nStrong experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, OpenSearch, Lambda).\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.\nDeep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).\nStrong scripting skills (Python, Bash).\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).\nProven troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, deployment, and performance domains.\nExperience supporting or operating modern data platforms such as Snowflakeor workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow would be a strong plus.\nFamiliarity with data pipeline architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and performance optimization for data workloads.\nExperience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.\nDemonstrated ownership of systems or platform components.\nStrong communication skills with ability to collaborate across engineering teams.\nProactive problem solver who drives automation and continuous improvement.\nGrowth mindset with strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies.\nAbility to influence engineering standards and lead by example.\n3+ years of experience across software development or DevOps environments\nUndergraduate or Postgraduate degree in an appropriate field (Engineering, Computer Science, Science)\nExperience working in international/multi-site environments\nLocation and Travel:\n(Dublin)\nHybrid role - Dublin City Centre, Ireland, currently this is set to 2 days per week onsite.\nOur Dublin City Centre offices are located less than 3 mins for Pearse St Dart Station and beside the Alex Hotel, making it accessible for all major transport. \nWe also offer flexible start/ end times, allowing your schedule to suit your lifestyle\nNote: Regrettably we cannot offer work permit sponsorship for this role To be considered, you must currently be based in Ireland and already hold the necessary legal permissions to work here.\nTeckro Benefits:\n25 days holidays, entitlement increases with length of service\nPension, available immediately upon joining Teckro\nHealthcare\nLife Insurance\nShare Options\nAnnual Performance related bonus\n50% Maternity leave pay after capped length of service\nPaid Paternity leave scheme\nBike to Work/ Tax Saver Scheme\nGym/Wellness Allowance\nSports and Social Club\nWe are always looking for amazing people to join our growing team.
