You will support product flow and apply merchant and customer service skills to curate a compelling in-store experience.\nResponsibilities will include:\nLEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT\nSupports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent \nSupports the Store Manager in creating and maintaining a succession strategy\nFoster a culture of strong communication and teamwork in order to ensure a seamless balance between operational, visual and customer priorities.\nAdministers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts consistent touch-bases with direct reports.\nCUSTOMER EXPERIENCE\nCultivates an environment of genuine customer connection\nDemonstrates extraordinary service and acts as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values\nFacilitates an energized pace, positive service environment and team development\nDelivers high-quality product services with attention to detail - such as branding, debossing, boot stretching, brim shaping, and boot shines - to ensure a premium customer experience\nUnderstands an OMNI Channel business - implements processes and utilizes tools to better service the customer\nVISUAL AND BUSINESS OPERATIONS\nFacilitates the sharing of product knowledge\nUpholds stock-to-sales processes, presentation standards, and manages product placement\nMaintains an effective store structure, floor plan, and appropriate fixture usage\nUpholds and ensures compliance with shipments, transfers and restock standards\nAdheres to and develops awareness around internal and external Loss Prevention procedures\nCOMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS\nSet clear objectives and expectations to drive a consistent store experience and ensure excellent operational and visual standards\nEncourage and demonstrate adaptability; positively effecting change and enabling the team to successfully execute a shared vision\nQualifications:\n2+ years Retail Management experience\nMust be available to work 15-20 hours per week\nExceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills\nStrong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results\nProven record of hiring and developing great talent\nExperienced in coaching, counseling & conflict resolution\nIndependent, proactive, results-driven work ethic\nUtmost character, honesty, and transparency\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma required (College Degree preferred)\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older\nContinually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, and be able to reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel as you organize and stock inventory. \nAbility to deliver excellent customer service while implementing loss prevention practices\nAble to lift up to 30lbs regularly and perform store maintenance tasks\nMust have reliable transportation\nMust be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), evenings and holidays as needed\nPart-Time Benefits:\nCompetitive hourly compensation + incentives\nFree boots and generous employee discount\nThe hourly rate for this position is $18 to $19/hr.
