This is a great career opportunity to join a team in a forward thinking company and develop their buying career further in this exciting, varied and fast paced role.\nResponsibilities\n· Create, manage and expedite open orders to meet business and production schedules.\n· Own and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance and resolve supply or delivery issues.\n· Source and issue requests for quotation, negotiating price, lead time and terms to secure best value.\n· Conduct due diligence on new and existing suppliers.\n· Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure procurement processes are followed.\n· Work closely with other departments including accounts payable, inventory and warehousing/logistics.\n· Identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and delivery performance.\nProfile and requirements\nYou will ideally have:\n· Experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain\n· Previous experience of ERP/MRP systems\n· An understanding of supply chain risk\n· The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment\n· A practical, problem-solving mindset\nWhat we have to offer you:\nAt TEKEVER, we offer a comprehensive package designed to reward, support, and develop our people.
