You will own end-to-end customs processes, ensure regulatory compliance across all import/export activities, and optimize our transport flows - with a high degree of independence and accountability for results.\nThis is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.\nLocation: Lisbon Office (on-site), with 2 weekly visits to our operational sites in Ponte de Sor, Leiria or Caldas da Rainha.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustoms & Trade Compliance\n· Manage all import and export declarations, ensuring full compliance with national and international regulations (EU, US EAR/ITAR, dual-use goods, etc.)\n· Classify products under the correct HS/HTS codes, with particular attention to UAV components and electronics\n· Obtain and maintain necessary export licenses, permits, and authorizations\n· Serve as the primary point of contact with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and brokers\n· Prepare and review all necessary documentation for import/export activities, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin, export licenses\n· Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adapt internal procedures accordingly\n· Conduct internal compliance audits and maintain accurate trade documentation\nTransport & Logistics\n· Coordinate and optimize international and domestic shipments (air, sea, road) for components, assemblies, and finished UAV products\n· Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers and logistics partners\n· Track shipments, resolve delays or incidents, and ensure on-time delivery performance\n· Analyze transport costs and identify optimization opportunities\n· Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs\nReporting & Continuous Improvement\n· Define and track KPIs related to customs compliance, lead times, and freight costs\n· Produce regular performance reports for management\n· Lead initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks\nRequired Profile\n· Experience: 5+ years in customs, trade compliance, and/or international transport, ideally in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-tech environment\n· Technical Knowledge: Strong command of customs regulations, export control frameworks (EAR, ITAR, dual-use), Incoterms, and international transport modes\n· Autonomy: Proven ability to operate independently, manage priorities, and make decisions without constant supervision\n· Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering measurable improvements in compliance, cost, or efficiency\n· Tools: Proficiency with ERP systems, customs management software, and MS Office / Excel\n· Languages: Fluency in English required; additional languages (French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus\n· Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications (CCS, CPTM, or equivalent) are a strong advantage\nWhat we have to offer you:\nAn excellent work environment and an opportunity to make a difference;\n\nSalary Compatible with the level of proven experience.\n\nDaily shuttle between Lisboa, Caldas da Rainha and Leiria.\n\nPre-Employment Requirements\nEmployment offers may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and reference verification, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nTEKEVER is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
