This position requires a strong technical background combined with leadership capabilities, as the engineer will support and mentor junior team members while working closely with Product, RF, FPGA, Software, Mechanical and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate has experience developing complex embedded electronic systems, taking ownership of technical decisions and driving projects through the complete development lifecycle.\nWhat will be your responsibilities:\nLead the development of electronic hardware for SAR payloads, ground systems and supporting equipment;\n\nDefine hardware architectures and allocate requirements across subsystems;\n\nPerform technical trade-off analyses and component selection activities;\n\nReview hardware designs and ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards;\n\nProvide technical guidance and support to engineers across the development lifecycle, fostering collaboration and engineering excellence.\n\nProfile and requirements:\nMaster's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent;\n\nMinimum 7 years’ experience in electronic hardware development;\n\nExperience in designing digital and analogue electronic circuits;\n\nProven experience delivering products from concept through production;\n\nStrong knowledge of analogue, digital and mixed-signal design;\n\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB design tools;\n\nExperience with high-speed interfaces such as: Ethernet, DDR Memory, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, PCIe;\n\nExperience with laboratory instrumentation: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analysers, Logic, Analysers, Network analysers, Signal generators;\n\nKnowledge of electronics design, communication protocols and BUS systems (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, …);\n\nLanguage Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages;\n\nGood team spirit and good communication skills;\n\nAbility to handle innovation environment and complex problems;\n\nAbility to provide technical guidance and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.\n\nWhat we have to offer you\nA dynamic and collaborative working environment, with the opportunity to make a real impact\nA competitive salary package, aligned with your proven level of experience\nMeal allowance and health insurance for employees\nBonus in line with company policy\nAccess to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)\nCompensation Transparency\nCompensation within the posted salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and work location, consistent with applicable laws.\nPre-Employment Requirements\nEmployment offers may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and reference verification, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nTEKEVER is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
