Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe.\nAbout the Role:\nTekion is seeking an experienced and data-driven FinOps Analyst II to spearhead our cloud financial operations and cost optimization strategy. In this role, you will partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to create a culture of financial accountability, ensuring cost transparency, optimized cloud usage, and strategic planning that aligns with Tekion’s fast-paced growth and innovation. This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in our Bangalore office.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFinOps Strategy Ownership:\nDevelop frameworks for cloud cost governance, budgeting, forecasting, and usage optimization.\n\nOwn the strategy and execution of cloud financial reporting and act as a key liaison between technical and finance teams.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\n\nPartner with engineering, DevOps, finance, and procurement teams to drive cloud cost accountability and strategic cloud investment.\n\nAlign cloud spending with product priorities, while helping stakeholders make data-informed decisions.\n\nSupport chargeback/showback models to ensure clear cost allocation and business unit ownership.\nCloud Spend Optimization C Analysis:\n\nAnalyze cloud billing data across AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify inefficiencies, track anomalies, and recommend savings opportunities.\n\nManage and optimize pricing models including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot instances.\n\nImprove visibility into cloud spend through effective tagging strategies and cost categorization.\nReporting, Tooling C Enablement:\n\nDesign and maintain cloud cost dashboards and reports for executive and engineering teams.\n\nImplement and enhance tooling (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer) to automate reporting and drive visibility.\n\nEnable self-service cost insights for engineering teams and promote a data- driven culture.\n\nSkills & Qualifications\n3-5 years of experience in FinOps, cloud finance, infrastructure cost management, or related domains.\n\nDeep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a strong understanding of their pricing, billing, and discounting models.\n\nHands-on experience with cloud cost management platforms, APIs, and automation.\n\nAnalytical Strength C Business Partnership:\n\nProficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).\n\nStrong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities in cloud environments.\n\nCurrent Tekion Employees: Please apply via the Internal Job Board in Ashby\nNote: Tekion recently transitioned to a new recruiting tool and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we adjust to our new system!\nTekion is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
