Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe.\nAbout the Role / Job Summary\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ to lead and manage the design, development, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end CPQ implementations, working closely with cross-functional teams to streamline quoting, pricing, and billing processes, and ensuring our CPQ processes align with SaaS business models, including subscriptions, renewals, and amendments.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the architecture, development, and deployment of Salesforce CPQ solutions.\n\nDesign scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ solutions, including product configuration, pricing rules, discount schedules, usage-based pricing, guided selling, and approvals.\n\nCollaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, performant technical solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and integrated systems (ERP, Billing).\n\nManage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and admins.\n\nDrive system integration strategies with ERP, billing, and other third-party platforms.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and data models.\n\nEnsure system reliability, data integrity, and security compliance across Salesforce solutions.\n\nDrive best practices around DevOps (CI/CD), testing, and change management.\n\nQualifications\n8+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform with 3+ years of Salesforce CPQ implementation and architecture experience.\n\nStrong understanding of CPQ capabilities: product configuration, pricing engines, discounting, quoting, contracts, renewals, amendments, and subscriptions.\n\nDeep understanding of SaaS-specific CPQ use cases such as Subscriptions, Renewals, and Amendments\n\nProficient in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, and Flow.\n\nExperience with Salesforce integrations to ERP systems like NetSuite.\n\nStrong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps (CI/CD).\n\nExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nSalesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Platform Developer I (or higher).\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in B2B SaaS or Subscription-based business models.\n\nKnowledge of pricing strategies, quote-to-cash (QTC) processes, and CLM tools.\n\nSalesforce Certified CPQ Specialist\n\nSalesforce Platform Developer I or II\n\nExperience working with CPQ APIs or custom pricing engines\n\nPrior experience with SaaS metrics and ARR/MRR workflows\n\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft or Boomi.\n\nCurrent Tekion Employees: Please apply via the Internal Job Board in Ashby\nNote: Tekion recently transitioned to a new recruiting tool and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we adjust to our new system!\nTekion is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
