In this role, you will own and evolve core CRM capabilities that power lead management, customer engagement, and sales execution for automotive dealerships at scale. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, GTM, and Customer Success teams to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in complex domains, brings strong customer empathy, and can balance long-term platform thinking with near-term execution in a fast-paced SaaS environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn Product Strategy & Outcomes\nOwn the end-to-end product lifecycle for core Tekion CRM capabilities - from discovery and definition to launch, adoption, and iteration.\n\nDefine and evolve the product strategy and roadmap, aligned with company goals, customer needs, and platform vision.\n\nDrive Business Impact\nDrive adoption, penetration, and customer satisfaction for Tekion CRM, with clear accountability for usage, conversion, and customer outcomes.\n\nPartner with GTM and Customer Success teams to ensure features translate into real dealer value.\n\nCustomer-Centric Product Development\nAct as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding dealership workflows, sales processes, and lifecycle needs.\n\nContinuously gather and synthesize customer feedback, usage data, and market insights to inform product decisions.\n\nData-Driven Decision Making\nDefine success metrics and KPIs for your product areas.\n\nUse data to prioritize investments, evaluate trade-offs, and guide iteration post-launch.\n\nCross-Functional Leadership\nLead complex initiatives across Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success.\n\nAlign stakeholders across product verticals to ensure roadmap coherence and platform consistency.\n\nPlatform & Scale Thinking\nDesign solutions that scale across dealership sizes, regions, and OEM requirements.\n\nBalance speed with quality, ensuring solutions are configurable, extensible, and sustainable.\n\nMentorship & Product Excellence\nManaging Product Managers, setting a high bar for product thinking, execution, and customer empathy.\n\nInfluence product best practices, planning rituals, and decision-making frameworks across the team.\n\nExecution with Velocity\nEnable teams to move fast without breaking things - clarifying priorities, managing dependencies, and making informed trade-offs to hit both short-term goals and long-term bets.\n\nRequirements\n12+ years of Product Management experience owning customer-facing SaaS products\n\n2+ years of experience managing Product Managers\n\nAdvanced degree (MBA or Engineering) from a top-tier institution\n\nExperience leading distributed onshore and offshore teams\n\nStrong business acumen with ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments\n\nProven track record of driving product adoption and measurable business impact\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication\n\nExperience partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams\n\nStrong prioritization skills and ability to align stakeholders across functions\n\nHands-on product leader with strong judgment and bias for action\n\nEnd-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, including post-launch iteration\n\nExperience building scalable systems and processes\n\nPreferred Skills\nAI/ ML product management experience\n\nExperience in the automotive retail industry or with dealer/ OEM data.\n\nCurrent Tekion Employees: Please apply via the Internal Job Board in Ashby\nNote: Tekion recently transitioned to a new recruiting tool and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we adjust to our new system!\nTekion is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
