Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe.\nSummary:\nLeads security engineering efforts for critical systems and services, providing technical direction and hands-on expertise in securing Tekion’s platforms. Partners with cross-functional teams to drive security architecture, threat detection, and proactive risk mitigation.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nDesigns and implements advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.\nLeads threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems and services.\nDevelops detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies.\nDrives automation of security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability management.\nCollaborates with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines and platform architecture.\nMentors junior security engineers and supports technical growth across the security team.\nQualifications:\n5-7 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure protection\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field\nDeep experience with AWS/GCP/Azure security services and infrastructure hardening\nStrong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform)\nProficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEMs, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, WAFs)\nFamiliarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills\nCurrent Tekion Employees: Please apply via the Internal Job Board in Ashby\nNote: Tekion recently transitioned to a new recruiting tool and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we adjust to our new system!\nTekion is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
