The ideal candidate should have strong Core Java engineering skills along with hands-on experience in Equity Derivatives or front-office trading technology.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop and enhance high-performance Java applications supporting Equity Derivatives trading.\n\n- Build highly concurrent, multithreaded systems capable of processing high volumes of real-time transactions and market data.\n\n- Optimize applications for low latency and high throughput.\n\n- Develop components supporting trading, pricing, risk, RFQ, order/execution or trade lifecycle workflows.\n\n- Work with real-time market data and messaging systems.\n\n- Identify performance bottlenecks and perform JVM/application-level performance tuning.\n\n- Work closely with trading, quantitative, business and technology teams to translate trading requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\n- Develop resilient and fault-tolerant services for business-critical trading applications.\n\n- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, production releases and troubleshooting.\n\nMandatory Skills :\n\nCore Java :\n\n- Strong hands-on Core Java development experience.\n\n- Excellent understanding of: Multithreading, Concurrency, Java Collections, Data structures and algorithms, Memory management, Garbage Collection, JVM performance tuning, Object-oriented design and design patterns.\n\nPerformance Engineering :\n\n- Strong experience developing applications where latency and throughput are critical.\n\n- Candidate should understand concepts such as: Low-latency application design, High-throughput processing, Thread optimization, Memory/GC optimization, Concurrent programming, Application profiling and performance tuning.\n\nTrading / Derivatives Domain :\n\n- Hands-on experience working with Equity Derivatives or electronic trading systems is highly preferred.\n\n- Candidates should have exposure to one or more of: Equity Derivatives, Options / Futures / Swaps, Electronic Trading, Front Office Trading, Pricing, Risk, Market Data, RFQ, Order Management / Execution, Trade Booking, Trade
