Starting pay $25 per hour plus shift differential.\nWe offer a full complement of valuable Health, Wellness, and Welfare benefits which include:\nMedical, Dental, and Vision\nLife and Disability\n401(k) and Match\nWellness Program including EAP\nPay for Performance philosophy\n8 hour work schedule\nMonthly Bonus Incentive Program\nMedical benefits are effective on the first day of the month after being hired.\nSummary / Purpose\nThe Extrusion Operator is under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for producing and/or packaging quality products on one of the production lines to customer specifications. This person is also responsible for maintaining the line, trouble-shooting, setting up the line, performing screen changes, being prepared for change-overs and assigning lot numbers. This person must be capable of performing all employee tasks and other duties as required and assigned.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned\nFollowing all safety rules and procedures.\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment.\nWorks closely with local management and production employees to achieve the “My Goal is Zero Accidents” objective.\nAbility to operate all equipment on the production line to include changes and set-up in the manufacturing process.\nChecking all work orders/specification sheets for specific work instructions.\nPerform hourly quality checks and double checks for accuracy.\nAccurately complete all paperwork as required.\nCollect retains during hourly quality checks for Quality Control inspection.\nInspect work for accuracy, completeness, and professional look.\nResponsible for clean out of the blenders in accordance with instructions.\nPerform random quality checks every 5 to 10 minutes to ensure product specifications.\nEnsuring correct material, packaging supplies and quality control tools are being used.\nScan product and material into LN..\nLimiting Scrap and wasting of material.\nAll aspects of changing a line over to another part/style number.\nTrouble-shooting issues of the line.\nProvide training or help to other employees when needed or as needed to team members.\nQualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
