You will help protect the integrity of essential products, support patient safety and comfort, and contribute to innovations that make everyday life better, all while building a career that makes an impact.\nBecause at TekniPlex, you don’t just deliver products - you help shape what’s next.\nWhat is the role where you can make an impact?\nSenior Capital Manufacturing Project Manager\nManufacturing Capital Project Management\nLead end-to-end execution of major capital projects (typically USD $2-20M) from concept through commissioning and handover.\nDevelop and manage project charters, business cases, scope, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.\nAdherence to and development of Communication Standards\nTekni-Plex site operations\nCompliance with governmental regulations, reviews, and enforcement\nSales and Commercial operations\nSupply chain management\nTax/Finance/Accounting\nHuman Resources administration\nSafety Policies\nContractor and vendor management\nEnsure adherence to corporate engineering standards, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and safety requirements.\nOversee procurement processes for capital equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and technical compliance.\nTechnical specification creation for manufacturing equipment platforms & processes.\nStrategic Planning and Stakeholder Engagement\nPartner with operations, R&D, supply chain, and finance to prioritize and plan annual capital budgets.\nTranslate business needs into project objectives and technical solutions that drive productivity, capacity, and compliance.\nProvide regular updates to senior management and governance committees on project status, financial performance, and risk exposure.\nLeadership and Team Development\nSupervise and mentor direct reports, fostering skill development and accountability. Add in expectations of development of team members\nPromote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement in project execution.\nContribute to cross-functional training and development of engineering staff in project management best practices.\nOutcome minded understanding the difference between effort vs. outcome.\nCompliance and Governance\nEnsure all capital projects comply with regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, environmental, and local authorities).\nMaintain accurate documentation and ensure readiness for audits and inspections within the standard CPMO database.\nChampion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives in capital investments.\nContinuous Improvement\nLead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve capital project methodologies.\nImplement standardized tools and systems for project tracking, cost control, and performance measurement.\nWhat skills do you bring to the role?\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).\nPMP certification or equivalent professional project management qualification preferred.\nExperience\n10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in capital project management within a manufacturing environment (consumer goods, healthcare, or pharmaceutical preferred).\nProven track record in delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects in GMP or regulated industries.\nExperience leading small teams and managing contractors and vendors.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong project management, budgeting, and cost control skills.\nAutocad proficiency\nMust be able to travel up to 65% mostly in US\nDeep understanding of manufacturing engineering design, construction, commissioning, and validation processes.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance.\nProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).\nArc Flash/IR processes\nStrategic Characterics\nStrategic Agility: Aligns capital investments with business priorities and long-term goals.\nExecution plus target bonus
