We partner with leading companies in the industry on technically demanding projects.\nReady to combine your electrical project experience with people leadership?\nWe are looking for an Electrical Operations Manager to join Tekniq’s internal team in Vaasa or Tampere.\nIn this role, you will lead and support our electrical site professionals working across different customer projects. As their line manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that they have the right support and conditions to succeed in their assignments. At the same time, you will coordinate resources and work closely with our internal teams to match the right expertise with current and upcoming project needs.\nYour role\nAs Electrical Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for your team of electrical site professionals throughout their employment and customer assignments.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nacting as the line manager for site professionals working in electrical projects\n\nmaintaining regular contact with employees working at different customer sites\n\nsupporting employees in their daily work and addressing questions or challenges that arise during assignments\n\ncoordinating personnel resources according to current and upcoming project needs\n\nmatching employee competence and experience with suitable customer projects\n\nplanning upcoming resource needs together with sales and other internal functions\n\nparticipating in recruitment and onboarding when new site professionals are needed\n\nsupporting competence development and identifying future development needs within the team\n\nensuring smooth transitions between customer projects and assignments\n\ncontributing to the development of Tekniq’s site operations, practices and ways of working\n\nworking closely with customers, sales, management and other internal stakeholders.\n\nWhat we expect from you\nTo succeed in this role, you need a solid understanding of electrical projects and site-based work. This is essential for understanding the realities our employees face in customer projects and for matching the right expertise with the right assignments.\nWe expect you to have:\nrelevant technical education in electrical engineering or a related field\n\nprevious experience in electrical projects, site operations or another closely related technical environment\n\na good understanding of site-based project work and the responsibilities of site professionals\n\nprevious experience in people management, team leadership or coordinating technical personnel\n\nthe ability to understand different competence profiles and project requirements\n\na structured and proactive approach to resource planning and people management\n\nstrong interpersonal and communication skills\n\nthe ability to work independently and take ownership of your area of responsibility\n\nfluent Finnish, which is a mandatory requirement for the role\n\ngood professional English skills.\n\nExperience from the energy, industrial, marine or other demanding project environments is highly relevant to the role.\nWhy Tekniq?\nAt Tekniq, our professionals work where the projects happen, from engineering and project management to site execution and commissioning.
