AWS & Microservices\n\nExperience : 5+ Years\n\nLocation : Pune\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Rust.\n\n- Build REST and gRPC services using frameworks such as Tokio, Axum, Actix Web or equivalent.\n\n- Develop robust domain logic, API validation, error handling, persistence, caching and messaging components.\n\n- Implement asynchronous and concurrent applications using Rust async/await and Tokio.\n\n- Integrate Rust applications with AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora and Secrets Manager.\n\n- Develop container-ready applications suitable for AWS EKS, ECS and Fargate environments.\n\n- Implement application health checks, readiness checks, graceful shutdown and production-ready configuration management.\n\n- Develop structured logging, metrics and distributed tracing using Rust tracing, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch and/or AWS X-Ray.\n\n- Write comprehensive unit, integration, API/contract and component tests.\n\n- Maintain code quality using Cargo, rustfmt, Clippy and automated CI/CD quality gates.\n\n- Troubleshoot application issues related to latency, CPU, memory, I/O, asynchronous contention and network performance.\n\n- Analyze and improve application performance using tools such as Criterion.rs, flamegraphs, perf and APM platforms.\n\n- Design resilient services using timeouts, retries, exponential backoff, jitter, circuit breakers, idempotency and failure isolation.\n\n- Build scalable and highly available services using stateless architecture, asynchronous processing and appropriate AWS scaling mechanisms.\n\n- Participate in production support, incident analysis, RCA and performance optimization.\n\n- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to security reviews, vulnerability remediation and dependency governance.\n\n- Collaborate with Architecture, QA, DevOps/SRE, Cybersecurity, Product and Operations teams.\n\n- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, release readiness and technical mentoring.\n\nRequired Experience :\n\n- 5+ years of software engineering experience.\n\n- Strong hands-on production experience with Rust.\n\n- Strong backend/systems programming fundamentals.\n\n- Experience developing cloud-native microservices and APIs.\n\n- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.\n\n- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.\n\n- Good understanding of software testing, observability, performance and secure development practices.\nSkills\nRust, AWS, Microservices Architecture, SQS, DynamoDB, Distributed Systems","description_format":"text","description_chars":2580,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T14:00:00Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-29T08:00:48Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tekpillar-rust-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tekpillar-rust-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T21:31:49Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4162,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":838,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
