Rust with strong expertise in software architecture, Rust-based application development, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.\n\nThe role will focus on defining application architecture and guiding engineering teams in developing scalable and high-performance solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design end-to-end software solutions using Rust, microservices, APIs, and distributed system architectures.\n\n- Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\n- Define application architecture, service boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, and data flows.\n\n- Guide engineering teams in developing production-grade Rust applications and services.\n\n- Provide technical guidance on Rust architecture, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and application performance.\n\n- Drive architecture decisions related to scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.\n\n- Lead technical design discussions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and architecture governance.\n\n- Review existing application architectures and recommend improvements where required.\n\n- Identify technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and architectural trade-offs.\n\n- Ensure effective integration between backend services, APIs, databases, and external systems.\n\n- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Cloud, Security, Product, and Operations teams.\n\n- Provide technical leadership during system integration, production readiness, and complex technical issues.\n\n- Document architecture decisions, technical standards, dependencies, risks, and operational requirements.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.\n\n- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Software Architecture.\n\n- Strong production experience with Rust.\n\n- Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.\n\n- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, performance optimization, and scalable application design.\n\n- Experience designing cloud-hosted applications, preferably on AWS.\n\n- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\n- Experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.\n\n- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.\n\n- Experience with observability and distributed tracing.\n\n- Experience working with distributed or onsite/offshore engineering teams.\n\nSkills\nRust, Solution Architect, Distributed Systems, AWS, Microservices Architecture, Backend Architecture, Cloud Apps","description_format":"text","description_chars":2790,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T08:00:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["seen:1","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-30T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tekpillar-solution-architect-rust","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tekpillar-solution-architect-rust.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T01:44:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1248,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3752,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
