The supporting infrastructure includes servers, computers, software and other devices/peripherals on standalone and/or secure government networks.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nTroubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance. \nInvestigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience. \nAssists customer with Tier III incident resolution of Linux, Windows, Apple, and other software applications. \nIdentifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions. \nCommunicate effectively (both oral and written) with variety of individuals. Work well in small and large team environments. \nRespond to escalated service/team requests and exhibits ownership until resolved or closed. \nWillingness to provide initial tirage, response, and notifications for incidents. \nParticipates in special projects as required. \nEnsure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. \nTrain staff in how to use software and hardware. \nInstall, configure, modify, and maintain system hardware and software. \nDiagnose and recommend fixes to problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software, and systems. \nEnsure the stable operation of the servers, computers, software, and network connections. \nPlan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links. \nAnalyze and resolve software program and connectivity issues. \nAssist in system design, development, and implementation. \nFamiliarity and ability to utilize ServiceNow ticketing system and process. \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience:\n3 years of experience serving as a Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation point of contact and coordinating with OEM/vendor (Tier 4) support is preferred. \nCertifications:\nCompTIA Security+ \nWindows Administrator Cert/Training \nMilestone Certified Engineer (MCDE) preferred\nLenel Certified Professional (LCP) preferred\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
