Candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Active Top Secret clearance is preferred.\nCertifications:CompTIA CASP+ or SecurityX\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or Enterprise\n\nMeet one of the following education and experience requirements:Master’s degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering, with at least eight (8) years of experience in that field, including five (5) years directly related to the duties described;\nBachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least ten (10) years of experience in information systems or software engineering; or\nAn equivalent combination of education, advanced technical certifications, and directly related engineering experience.\n\nExperience with complex applications involving all phases of telecommunications network design, implementation, management, and analysis, including voice, video, and data transport systems.\nExperience evaluating and estimating carrier-provided voice and data WAN services; designing access and backbone networks using carrier services; and/or managing the analysis and design of wireless voice or data networks using private radio or commercial services.\nFamiliarity with networking protocols and standard Internet of Things (IoT) protocols.\nOverview\nWe are seeking a Telecom Network Senior Engineer to join our team supporting DLA VOC.\nThe Telecom Network Senior Engineer serves as the engineering authority for the design, configuration, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise telecommunications and collaboration architecture. Working under general supervision, this role develops engineering requirements and solution designs, leads resolution of complex technical issues, and ensures solutions meet mission needs, enterprise standards, and security requirements.\nThe Senior Engineer coordinates engineering activities with government stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise teams; contributes to technical strategy and lifecycle planning; and provides oversight to subordinate technical roles.
