This role will work alongside the CTO and manage 15-20 engineers across various squads(Front,Back,QA,AI), the development process and technical stack.\nResponsibilities\nLead and direct engineering squads, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable SaaS products\nParticipate heavily in technical architecture discussions, ensuring longevity and scalable solutions which align with the product goals\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and customer success, to define and execute the product roadmap\nFoster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the engineering team\nEstablish and implement engineering best practices, processes, and standards to ensure efficient and effective development cycles\nContribute to the codebase when needed, following the same best practices and acting as a role model\nMentor and develop engineering talent, providing guidance and support to help team members achieve their full potential\nOversee recruitment, retention, and professional development of a high-performing engineering team\nManage and optimize the engineering budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources\nBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, to understand their needs and ensure Tektome’s engineering efforts align with business objectives\nRepresent Tektome’s engineering team internally and externally, acting as a technical spokesperson and advocate\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n10+ years of software engineering experience at a senior level, with at least 2 years experience as a lead\nAbility to relocate to Tokyo, Japan (availability for in-person meetings with our leadership team is required)\nStrong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud-based solutions\nProven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions\nExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent\nStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels\nExperience working in a fast-paced,
