The candidate should have strong knowledge of Gosu, Guidewire configuration, and BillingCenter integrations, and should be comfortable working across the complete development lifecycle. \n\nThe role involves understanding business requirements, designing and developing solutions in Guidewire BillingCenter, configuring the application, developing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain solutions within Guidewire BillingCenter.\n\n- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.\n\n- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Guidewire BillingCenter solutions.\n\n- Develop and customize BillingCenter functionality using Gosu and Guidewire development frameworks.\n\n- Perform Guidewire BillingCenter configuration and customization based on project requirements.\n\n- Develop and maintain integrations between BillingCenter and internal/external systems.\n\n- Analyze integration requirements and implement appropriate integration solutions.\n\n- Troubleshoot application, configuration, integration, and production issues.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows established coding and architectural standards.\n\n- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.\n\n- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.\n\n- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and functional issues.\n\n- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, integrations, and implemented solutions.\n\n- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.\n\n- Contribute to continuous improvement of Guidewire development processes and best practices.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills:\n\n1. Guidewire BillingCenter:\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter is mandatory.\n\n- Practical experience in BillingCenter development, configuration, and customization.\n\n- Good understanding of BillingCenter architecture and application components.\n\n- Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot BillingCenter functionality.\n\n- Experience working on BillingCenter implementations, enhancements, or maintenance projects.\n\n2. Gosu:\n\n- Strong working knowledge of Gosu, Guidewire's development language.\n\n- Ability to write, debug, and maintain Gosu code.\n\n- Experience using Gosu for business logic, extensions, enhancements, and customizations.\n\n- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.\n\n3. Guidewire Configuration:\n\n- Hands-on experience with Guidewire configuration.\n\n- Ability to configure BillingCenter functionality based on business requirements.\n\n- Experience working with Guidewire data models, entities, typelists, PCF/UI configuration, and business rules will be an advantage.\n\n- Ability to understand existing configurations and implement enhancements without impacting existing functionality.\n\n4.
