Together, we’re transforming how better health happens.\nSenior Software Engineer, Salesforce (Service Cloud)\nRemote (India)\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer to design and build scalable solutions on our Salesforce Service Cloud platform, which supports clinical care coordination and patient engagement workflows. This role owns technical design decisions, mentors other engineers, and partners closely with product and clinical stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and performant Salesforce solutions.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and maintain solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Flow, and declarative tools.\nArchitect scalable data models, integrations, and automation that support high-volume clinical and contact center operations.\nLead technical design reviews and provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and platform performance.\nBuild and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.\nPartner with product managers, QA, and clinical operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.\nOwn code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline practices (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, or similar).\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks and integration failures.\nMentor mid-level and junior engineers, and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.\nStay current with Salesforce release cycles and proactively recommend platform improvements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on Salesforce development.\nDeep hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including case management, omni-channel routing, and console configuration.\nStrong expertise in the Lightning Framework (Lightning Web Components and Aura), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.\nProven experience designing and building integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven/streaming patterns).\nSolid understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits.\nExperience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.\nStrong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional, non-technical stakeholders.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II a plus).\n\nPreferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications\nExperience integrating Salesforce with Five9 (contact center/telephony) and Twilio (CPaaS/voice/SMS APIs).\nFamiliarity with event-driven and asynchronous architectures and experience integrating Salesforce with Kafka\nExperience developing middleware services using Java/Spring Boot for integration with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.\nExperience with Salesforce Health Cloud, including care plans, provider/patient data models, and healthcare-specific compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA).\nExperience in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated industry.\nFamiliarity with clinical or contact-center workflow platforms and CTI (computer telephony integration).\nFront-end development experience with Angular and React.\nExperience with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, or other platform security/compliance tooling.\nExposure to Agile/Scrum development practices.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nA senior engineer who can operate independently, make sound architectural tradeoffs, and communicate technical decisions clearly to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders - someone comfortable owning a platform area end-to-end in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.\nAs part of our hiring process, we verify identity and credentials, conduct interviews (live or video), and screen for fraud or misrepresentation.
