Together, we’re transforming how better health happens.\nSummary of Position\nThe Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a senior individual contributor within the Product and Technology organization responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with product, engineering, design, data, and operations teams to align technical execution with business objectives while ensuring scalable, high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep technical understanding, strong program leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed environment. This position also leverages modern AI-enabled tools and automation to improve delivery efficiency, reporting, and program governance.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs spanning web, mobile, platform, infrastructure, and data products.\nDrive alignment across product, engineering, design, and operational teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain program plans, roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and delivery metrics.\nAnticipate, identify, and mitigate program risks while proactively resolving blockers and managing escalations.\nFacilitate technical discussions related to architecture, integrations, system dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.\nEstablish and track KPIs, success metrics, and program health indicators to measure outcomes and business impact.\nCreate and maintain dashboards and status reporting utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Tableau, Power BI, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.\nApply Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, and Kaizen methodologies to drive predictable and efficient program execution.\nPartner with engineering leaders to align technical roadmaps with platform scalability, reliability, and business goals.\nLeverage AI tools and automation to improve program management processes, reporting, risk identification, and operational efficiency.\nConduct project retrospective and implement lessons learned to continuously improve delivery practices.\nMentor and develop junior and mid-level TPMs by providing guidance on program execution, technical reasoning, and stakeholder management.\nServe as a thought leader for technical program management practices across the organization.\nQualifications Expected for Position\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of program or project management experience\n2+ years in a Technical Program Manager or equivalent technical delivery role.\nExperience delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with measurable business outcomes.\nDemonstrated understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD practices, system integrations, and security principles.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments utilizing frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean methodologies.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple teams and leadership levels without direct authority.\nExperience establishing program metrics, tracking outcomes, and communicating progress to technical and executive audiences.\nDemonstrated use of AI and automation tools to improve program delivery, reporting, operational efficiency, or productivity.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nExperience within healthcare technology, health and life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.\nProfessional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Agilist (SA), Scrum Master (SSM), POPM, PMP, or equivalent.\nProven track record of driving measurable improvements to high-traffic, large-scale consumer web and mobile experiences, such as sign-in, identity and account management, registration, onboarding, and app homepages.\nDeep understanding of user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. This includes experience using funnel analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation to reduce friction, raise conversion, and bring users back.\nFamiliarity with responsible AI principles, including model governance, fairness, bias mitigation, and compliance considerations.\nExperience with enterprise-scale platforms, cloud transformation initiatives, and large technology portfolios.\nAdvanced expertise with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.\nProven success mentoring TPMs, program managers, or project managers within a complex organization.\nThe base salary range for this position is $140,000 -$170,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
