Together, we’re transforming how better health happens.\nSummary of Position\n\nBuild, maintain, grow, and secure our healthcare platform, furthering our reputation as a technical pioneer, during this time of exponential growth.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nDetermines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.\nApplies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems.\nFocuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyses for review by experienced team professionals.\nProvide technical leadership to a small engineering team on a project-by-project basis.\nCreate engineering tasks based on product requirement documents provided by product managers and engineering managers.\nProvide code reviews to engineering peers based on experience with PHP, Symfony, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SQL, and PostgreSQL, using a perspective that always takes member experience as the foremost consideration.\nArchitect and develop features and core platform capabilities geared towards member experience.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services using PHP/Symfony and React.\nDesign database schemas, optimize queries, and develop automated test code using PostgreSQL.\nDeploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.\nSupport and troubleshoot applications running in Linux environments.\nBuild and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.\nUpdate existing code to improve scalability, availability, and performance of systems and data processing workflows to improve member experience and operational efficiency.\nQualifications Expected for Position\n\n2.5+ years of CS industry experience.\n3+ years engineering design and software development experience specialized in member-facing applications and services.\n3+ years of experience developing applications using PHP and Symfony.\nExperience developing modern web applications using React.\n3+ years of experience designing database schemas and writing optimized SQL queries using PostgreSQL.\nExperience deploying and managing applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.\nExperience building and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure environments.\nWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n#LI-MM2\n#LI-Remote\nAs part of our hiring process, we verify identity and credentials, conduct interviews (live or video), and screen for fraud or misrepresentation.
