The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage both production and service teams effectively.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject & Equipment Build Management\nPlan, execute, and oversee equipment build projects from inception to completion.\nDevelop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.\nCoordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays.\nEnsure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.\nTrack project performance using KPIs and report progress to senior management.\nField Service & Aftermarket Support\nOversee field service teams responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of equipment in the field.\nDevelop and implement service schedules, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.\nProvide guidance to field service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.\nWork closely with clients to address concerns, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction.\nManage spare parts inventory and ensure efficient logistics for field service operations.\nTeam Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination\nLead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and service personnel.\nCoordinate with internal departments and external vendors to optimize project outcomes.\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and alignment on project objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across project management and service functions.\nQualifications & Experience\nEssential:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment manufacturing.\nProven experience in managing equipment builds and overseeing field service teams.\nStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy machinery.\nProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).\nExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nStrong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.\nWillingness to travel to job sites and customer locations as required.\nDesirable:\nPMP (Project Management Professional).\nExperience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems for project tracking and resource planning.\nKey Competencies\n?
