You consistently leverage AI to build, and you push to make that leverage scale rather than staying a one-off productivity trick. You work closely with our Architect on shared platform components, and with QA and Design to guarantee that our TI features are maintained and available.\nConcretely, you will\nDesign, implement, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and WebSockets in Python & Django to support our applications\n\nBuild highly performant single-page and desktop applications using React, TypeScript, and Electron, delivering exceptional user experiences\n\nDesign and deploy services on cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), ensuring our platform is scalable and reliable\n\nOwn the test frameworks for your module, catching regressions early and ensuring long-term maintainability\n\nMonitor performance closely using Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, and CloudWatch, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively\n\nAct as a technical mentor for other engineers and contribute to pair programming, fostering a culture of shared expertise and continuous learning\n\nTake the lead in maintaining engineering best practices, ensuring consistency and excellence in code quality\n\nShip clear, maintainable, and thoughtfully commented code, setting the standard for software excellence\n\nWhat you ideally bring\nSeveral years of professional experience with Python & Django, and deep proficiency with React and TypeScript (ideally 5+ years with React)\n\nSolid experience with web technologies and Electron/JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks\n\nStrong SQL skills and experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORMs)\n\nExperience with concurrency and asynchronous tasks using Celery or similar technology\n\nExperience with testing frameworks to ensure robustness and reliability (we use Jest, Playwright, and Cypress)\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure - we’re on AWS (Azure, GCP, or similar also welcome)\n\nCompetence with revision control systems (we use Git)\n\nA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience that demonstrates your technical capabilities\n\nIndependent, self-motivated, and proactive, with a proven track record of continuous learning and personal growth\n\nFluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly\n\nOur salaries are determined based on objective and role-related criteria, aligned with the local market standards of your specific hiring country.
