This role involves hands-on problem-solving to enable successful B2B sales and product integration. Responsibilities include technical support, documentation, customer training, product demonstrations, and collaboration with internal engineering teams across development, testing, and manufacturing.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop technical documentation including application notes, test procedures, FAQs, user guides, and product specifications.\nAssist in product validation and release processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to product design, production, and validation.\nDeliver product training to customers, sales representatives, and internal staff.\nSupport customers with system design, troubleshooting, and application of FLIR OEM products.\nAnalyze data and generate reports to support engineering initiatives.\nParticipate in assembly, testing, and development of OEM products.\nTravel (domestic and international) to support product demonstrations and on-site support.\nGather customer insights and market feedback to inform product development and system requirements.\nCollaborate with the sales team to support business development, including trade shows and customer visits.\nContribute to production line improvements based on customer feedback, including yield and process optimization.\nProvide support to ensure smooth production operations and product delivery.\nAssist systems engineering with the design, definition, and implementation of complex system requirements.\nSupport hardware/software compatibility efforts and system specification development.\nProvide application support for a wide range of internal and external customer use cases involving IR camera systems.\nCollaborate with senior systems engineers and contribute to special projects as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and technical writing abilities.\nEagerness to learn and apply new concepts.\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international); valid passport required.\nProficiency in software tools such as MATLAB or Python (C/C++ experience is a plus).\nStrong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.\nCompetency in mechanical and electrical assembly.\nApplicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or Perm Resident\nPreferred Education & Background\nBachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nBasic understanding of optics and electromechanical systems.\nFamiliarity with embedded systems and computer science principles.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nMust be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to use hand and power tools\nSalary Range:\n$77,900.00-$103,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
