This role ensures high-quality product output by following strict process controls, cleanliness standards, and detailed work instructions.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:\nPerform precision assembly of infrared camera components, including optics, sensors, and mechanical housing\nExecute functional and environmental testing of IR camera systems per defined procedures\nInspect components and finished assemblies using microscopes and metrology tools to ensure quality standards are met\nFollow detailed work instructions, travelers, and engineering documentation with high accuracy\nMaintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols (gowning, contamination control, ESD handling)\nRecord production data, test results, and non-conformance accurately in manufacturing systems (e.g., Camstar or equivalent)\nIdentify defects or process deviations and escalate issues to engineering or supervisory staff\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, throughput, and quality\nAssist with equipment setup, calibration checks, and routine maintenance\nJob Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred\n1-3+ years of experience in cleanroom assembly, electronics manufacturing, or optical/mechanical assembly\nExperience working with small components and precision tools (tweezers, torque drivers, microscopes)\nFamiliarity with electrostatic discharge (ESD) and contamination control practices\nAbility to read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications\nBasic computer skills for data entry and manufacturing systems\nApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.\nSalary Range:\n$44,500.00-$59,300.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
