This role ensures cost-effective procurement, supplier performance, and risk mitigation while aligning with corporate goals and compliance standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement commodity strategies using total cost of ownership principles.\n\nLead RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.\n\nMonitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in alignment with corporate procurement policies.\n\nMonitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery metrics.\n\nFacilitate supplier risk assessments including cybersecurity and financial health.\n\nPartner with engineering, operations, and finance to align procurement with product development and production needs.\n\nSupport new product introductions and cost reduction initiatives.\n\nEnsure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.\n\nMaintain accurate procurement records and contract metadata in ERP and sourcing platforms.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.\n\nLead initiatives to standardize and streamline procurement workflows.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management.\n\nStrong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.\n\nProficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and sourcing tools.\n\nKnowledge of global supply chain dynamics and risk mitigation strategies.\n\nProfessional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM, APICS) are a plus\n\nAbility to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings and specifications desired\n\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs, on occasion.\n\nPreferred Attributes:\nExperience in manufacturing or industrial environments.\n\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams and manage conflict.\n\nHigh attention to detail and urgency in resolving supply issues.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Salary & Benefits Package\n\nHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance from Day 1\n\nPaid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays\n\n401(k) with Company Match\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\n\nEducational Tuition Reimbursement\n\nFun Employee Events throughout the year\n\nApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.\nSalary Range:\n$62,800.00-$83,700.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
