Also responsible for the development of production support software and systems. Participation in every phase of a project, including requirements review, software design and coding, unit testing, system integration, and sustaining engineering.\nJob Qualifications\n2+ years of experience with C, C#, and/or C++ programming\nExperience developing in Visual Studio is highly desired\nExperience programming in an SQL Server environment is highly desired\nExperience testing equipment in thermal chambers is highly desired\nUnderstanding of embedded, multi-threaded software design and implementation is very helpful (e.g., Embedded Linux, RTEMS, etc.)\nAbility to understand both the hardware and software components of embedded systems under test\nKnowledge of hardware subsystems and common peripheral buses, including I2C, SPI, and USB\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English\nAbility to set up tool chains, build and debugging environments, and utilize debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar equipment is highly desirable\nExperience with infrared and/or visible imaging technologies, image acquisition, and image processing is desired but not required\nExperience testing high-volume products is helpful\nAbility to design software in a manner that reduces test time is highly desired\nExperience using AI tools for software development in a commercial product environment is required\nEducation and Experience\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field\nRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of some or all of the educational requirements\nWork Authorization\nApplicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents\nSalary Range:\n$90,800.00-$121,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
