Working closely with engineering, supply chain, product management and customer support teams across Europe, Asia and North America, you will ensure products meet global regulatory and market access requirements.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance professional looking to influence product development from concept through to global launch while representing the business within international standards organisations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide expert guidance on product compliance, regulatory requirements and industry standards.\nInterpret legislation, directives and standards to support new and existing product development.\nManage global product approvals and certification activities.\nReview and approve compliance test reports and technical documentation.\nCreate and maintain Technical Construction Files and Declarations of Conformity.\nLiaise with external test laboratories, notified bodies and certification agencies.\nSupport customer, sales and product support compliance enquiries.\nRepresent the company on national and international standards committees.\nAct as the FCC and ISED Canada company signatory.\nMonitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across global markets.\nCarry out the role in accordance with all relevant legislation and following Raymarine’s policies and processes (including but not limited to those relating to ethics, compliance, cyber security, product development, labour and human rights, and the environment.)\nUndertake all mandatory training as requested.\nSkills & Experience\nEssential:\nSignificant experience in a product compliance, regulatory or certification role.\nStrong knowledge of marine electronics, radio communications, EMC and product safety standards.\nExperience with international approval requirements including CE, UKCA, FCC, ISED Canada, RCM, MIC, KC and other global market access schemes.\nKnowledge of maritime navigation systems, VHF communications, radar, AIS and wireless technologies.\nExperience managing compliance projects, certification programmes and approval submissions.\nExcellent technical documentation, record-keeping and reporting skills.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.\nDesirable:\nExperience representing organisations within industry standards bodies such as IEC, ETSI, CIRM or EMC-related working groups.\nFamiliarity with RED, EMC, MED and product safety compliance frameworks.\nEngineering degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Communications, Compliance or a related discipline.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nWork on industry-leading marine technologies used worldwide.\nInfluence products from concept through to market release.\nCollaborate with global engineering and product teams.\nParticipate in innovation initiatives and standards development.\nBe part of a growing international organisation committed to innovation, quality and integrity.\nInterested?\nIf you liked what you just read, and believe you are the person that will make us better, do not hesitate to apply.\nThe selection process is ongoing, so don't wait.\nWhen applying, make it easy for yourself.
