Teledyne CML Composites has positioned itself, and is recognised as one of the worlds leading suppliers in composites and supports the business strategy of continuous growth and technical innovation.\nWith an orderbook extending out into the next decade, we are looking for new colleagues to join our thriving company.\nJob Summary:\nTo ensure the health and safety of employees, manage and maintain the facility and to initiate, monitor and manage environmental initiatives at the site.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:\nEnvironment, Health and Safety\nEnsure compliance with current Health & Safety and Environmental legislation (LOLER, PUWEWR, PSSR, COSHH)\n\nMaintain the Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and compliance with 45001 OHS\n\nParticipate in Teledyne EHS team calls, projects and report required metrics.\n\nConduct Risk Assessments (incl COSHH, Machinery, Etc)\n\nLead Regular H&S, Environmental committee meetings, provide minutes and actions and ensure these are completed in a timely fashion.\n\nEnsure that Fire Officers/Marshalls and First Aider training is kept up-to-date.\n\nEnsure that Site signage is up-to-date and to current regulations.\n\nCarry out regular procedural tests (eg spill tests, fire drills, disaster recovery checks)\n\nManage day-to-day Health & Safety issues, provisions and PPE for the facility\n\nMinimise costs of recycling and waste disposal. Report improvements on a monthly basis.\n\nIdentify, propose and implement sustainability improvements for site.\n\nAssist with internal audits and manage internal audit schedules, ensuring findings arising from these audits are closed out in a timely manner.\n\nSupport the Quality Manager with all external accreditation and customer Audits.\n\n Facility management:\nManage the maintenance of the building fabric, services, security and outdoor areas\n\nIdentify remedial works, routine maintenance, develop improvement plans and implement.\n\nManage subcontractors whilst on site and relevant documentation, qualification and safe work assessments\n\nEnsure contractors are advised of potential hazards when entering the sites, the contractor/s is supervised when on site and that the works are inspected on completion and signed off.\n\nImplement Permits to Work where applicable (i.e. Working at Height, Hot work & other high risk work).\n\nOrganise all electrical testing, including PAT testing and certificates.\n\nIn compliance with the statutory requirement to undertake thorough Inspections where applicable ensure all, pressure vessels and pipe work, lifting equipment, extraction; machine safety and water condition (legionella) periodic inspections are carried out.\n\nEnsure all fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting systems and vents are tested and recorded.\n\nDevelop annual facility management budget and manage spend to ensure budget is not exceeded\n\nFacilitate all site inspection visits (incl TM44 and ESOS)\n\nMaintain facility management policies including visitor management & Trade Compliance requirements\n\nManage security and access control\n\nProvide periodic out of hours call-out support (rota shared with Facility Technician)\n\nSupport space planning, office moves and procurement of furniture\n\nThe duties and responsibilities shown are indicative and may vary.
