Participation in every phase of a project, including requirements review, software design and coding, unit testing, system integration, and sustaining engineering.\nJob Qualifications\n3+ years of experience with embedded programming and board-level software development in C (or equivalent)\nExperience with embedded RTOS (e.g., embedded Linux, RTEMS, etc.) and multi-threaded software development\nExpertise in developing multi-core embedded software is highly desirable\nExperience in development on embedded SoCs is highly desirable\nExperience with multi-core imaging and vision processing platforms (such as NVIDIA or Qualcomm) is highly desirable but not required\nAbility to understand both the hardware and software components of the embedded systems under development\nKnowledge of hardware subsystems and common peripheral buses including I2C, SPI, and USB is desired\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English\nExperience designing, specifying, and implementing low-latency protocols and interfaces between peripherals and devices. Teledyne FLIR software operates under rigorous constraints related to latency and frame loss.\nAbility to set up various embedded toolchains, build and debugging environments, and use debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar equipment\nExperience with infrared technologies, image acquisition, and image processing is highly desired but not required\nExperience using AI tools in software development workflows is valuable and desired\nEducation\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.\nEquivalent combinations of education, training, and directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nAdditional Requirements\nApplicants must be U.S. citizen or PERM Resident.\nSalary Range:\n$90,800.00-$121,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
