This role oversees inventory transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and stock control activities to ensure material availability and operational efficiency. The position is primarily office-based, with periodic work in warehouse environments to support inventory management activities.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate inventory records and documentation.\nPerform daily inventory transactions and reconciliations.\nVerify received materials meet order requirements.\nMonitor inventory levels to support production and customer demand.\nMaintain shipment, invoice, and inventory records.\nSupport inventory forecasting and planning activities.\nCoordinate inventory movement between warehouse and manufacturing locations.\nTrack and document inventory receipts, transfers, and adjustments.\nManage aging, excess, and obsolete inventory.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.\nPrepare inventory reports and analyze inventory data.\nRespond to inventory-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory performance.\nJob Requirements\nExperience with SAP inventory management functions required.\nGovernment Property Management experience is a plus.\n2-4 years of inventory control, inventory management, or materials management experience.\nBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.\nUnderstanding of inventory control, reconciliation, and stock management processes.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred.\nStrong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAble and willing to travel domestically approximately 5%.\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record required.\nAble and willing to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds assisted.\nApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.\nAbout Teledyne FLIR Defense\nJoin Teledyne FLIR Defense, where we're dedicated to supporting critical missions with an exciting range of cutting-edge technologies.
