This position works under the technical guidance of a Lead Operator, Technician, or other skilled employee and performs semi-routine machine setups, equipment operation, and product verification activities. Work is periodically reviewed for compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.\nPerform machine setup and operation of assigned production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.\nComplete semi-routine equipment setups; complex setups, fixtures, tooling changes, and process adjustments are performed by higher-level personnel.\nFollow process sheets, routers, manufacturing instructions, and verbal or written direction from supervisors or leads.\nOperate production equipment and computer-controlled machine consoles.\nMonitor machine operation and make routine adjustments as authorized to maintain quality and productivity standards.\nUse basic measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product conformance.\nRecord production information, inspection results, and process data as required.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards.\nFollow all quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist with training and cross-functional activities as needed.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nVocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, electronics, or a related field preferred.\nTypically requires 2 to 4 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.\nEquivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.\nTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
