As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the equipment and facility systems that enable our manufacturing operations to succeed.\nWhat you'll do\nPerform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.\nDiagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment operation and identifying the root cause of failures.\nDismantle, inspect, repair, and replace defective machinery components.\nMeasure and evaluate worn parts to determine repair or replacement requirements.\nAdjust equipment and control systems using hand tools, levels, and precision measuring devices.\nFabricate, modify, and install replacement parts using machine shop equipment and metalworking tools.\nOperate equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and related shop machinery.\nTest, lubricate, and maintain equipment to verify safe and effective operation.\nOrder maintenance parts and supplies as needed to support repair activities.\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.\nWhat you need\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills - required.\nAbility to read and interpret maintenance instructions, diagrams, and technical documentation - required.\nExperience using hand tools, measuring devices, and machine shop equipment - required.\nBasic mathematical skills, including measurements, formulas, and geometric calculations - required.\nAbility to identify problems and apply practical solutions in a manufacturing environment - required.\nBasic computer skills for entering maintenance and timekeeping data - required.\n2-4 years of industrial, building, or equipment maintenance experience - required.\nHigh school diploma or GED - required.\nThis position requires access to export-controlled information.
