These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.\nWe are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.\nJob Description\nWe are currently seeking an energetic Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team at our Miamisburg site.\nWe are currently targeting students for the Spring 2027 semester.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPrimary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:\nBecoming familiar with and utilizing engineering design and drafting standards\nAssisting in producing detail design calculations, spreadsheets, reports, drawings, and sketches for various projects\nAssisting in developing conceptual process engineering designs and studies as necessary to determine the simplest, most efficient approach to solving engineering problems\nAssisting engineers and technicians in accomplishing tasks to support manufacturing and project goals in terms of safety, cost, schedule, and quality\nGenerally responsible for performing routine engineering tasks of less complex assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This work will be performed under direct supervision.\nWhat You Need\nCurrently enrolled college student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at an accredited university is required.\nCurrent class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).\nCumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.\nMust be able to work on-site in Miamisburg, OH.\nPrior coop experience is a plus.\nDemonstrated leadership skills within campus life and extracurricular activities.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nGood communication skills, both verbal and written.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing engineering principles (cycle time analysis, process instructions, layout calculations, Kaizen, and lean practices) is beneficial for this position.\nWorking knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD or SolidWorks (or both) is beneficial for this position.\nPlease note that due to the requirements from the Department of Energy, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive pay and benefits\nPaid sick time for temporary employees\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nEmployee wellness programs and assistance resources\nA collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology\nWhat happens next\nApply online through Teledyne’s careers page.
